Review: Love and Gelato
October 08, 2017Synopsis: Lina, in the wake of losing her mother, moves to Italy to fulfill one of her mother's last requests. While she meets her father, a man she never thought she would meet. But to meet him, she goes on a whirlwind of a journey in Italy, a country she never thought she would like. But meeting her father wasn't the only thing that Italy gave her, it also gave her love and gelato.
Here's the Florence American Cemetery, the one where Lina moves to in the beginning of the book. In my opinion, it's a much better cemetery than the one you would usually when you hear the word cemetery.

I highly recommend Love and Gelato to those on a quest for a light contemporary read. It's a fast read and one that is easily enjoyed, Ren and Lina are definitely characters that you won't get tired of.
Plus, when Lina goes into the city, she goes to Florence, which in my opinion would be an awesome way to spend your summer.
"You know, people come to Italy for all sorts of reasons, but when they stay, it's for the same two things."
"What?"
"Love and gelato."
I give it...
